5. Refined Carbohydrates-
Refined carbohydrates such as refined wheat flour and white rice are the processed versions of the whole grains. The refined carbs can lead to an insulin spike which further leads to inflammation. Therefore, avoid refined carbohydrates and consume whole grains.
6. Omega 6 Fatty acids-
Excessive intake of omega 6 fatty acids is known to act as a precursor for inflammation. In other words, people with arthritis should consume omega 6 fatty acids in moderation.
7. Alcohol –
Individuals with inflammatory arthritis should restrict the intake of alcohol as it can worsen the symptoms further more.
8. Fried Foods –
Fried foods contain saturated fats as well as omega 6 fatty acids. These are known to increase inflammation in the body. Omega 3 rich foods such be consumed by the arthritis individuals.
