An engineer from Chennai lost 13 Kg in just 2.5 months!

Her Lifestyle
Being an engineer, she is a professional who invent, design, analyze, build and test machines, complex systems, structures, gadgets, and materials to fulfill functional objectives and requirements while considering the limitations imposed by practicality, regulation, safety, and cost. For the most part, Software Engineers lead a hectic schedule, even from the comfort of their homes, as they sit in front of their systems all day keeping a check on everything.
Being an engineering professional most of her time goes sitting at work! The fewer calories you burn, the more likely you are to gain weight. This is why sedentary behavior is so closely linked to obesity. In fact, research shows that people with obesity sit for an average of two hours longer each day than do people with a normal weight.
Long-term sedentary behavior increases your risk of health conditions like type 2 diabetes and heart disease. Inactivity is believed to play a direct role in the development of insulin resistance.
Her Medical Background
Obesity is a complex disease involving an excessive amount of body fat. It is a medical problem that increases your risk of other diseases and health problems, such as heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, and certain cancers.
The genes you inherit from your parents may affect the amount of body fat you store, and where that fat is distributed. It can also be caused due to unhealthy lifestyle choices.
Obesity can occur at any age, even in young children. But as you age, hormonal changes and a less active lifestyle increase your risk of obesity. In addition, the amount of muscle in your body tends to decrease with age. Generally, lower muscle mass leads to a decrease in metabolism.
Obstacles don’t have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don’t turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it. If you don’t do what’s best for your body, you’re the one who comes up on the short end.
Srija also has PCOS which is the most common endocrine disorder affecting women of reproductive age and is associated with obesity, hyperinsulinemia, and insulin resistance. Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a hormonal disorder common among women of reproductive age. Women with PCOS may have infrequent or prolonged menstrual periods or excess male hormone (androgen) levels. The ovaries may develop numerous small collections of fluid (follicles) and fail to regularly release eggs.
The Aftermath
Srija realized that obesity/weight loss can diminish her overall quality of life. She may not be able to do things you used to do, such as participating in enjoyable activities. She may avoid public places.
For a really long time, she was searching for a diet that could help him incorporate healthy changes into his lifestyle and she also wanted to become a fitter version of herself. She still enjoyed small amounts of high-fat, high-calorie foods as an infrequent treat. She was sure to choose foods that promote a healthy weight and good health most of the time.
